Year-End Banquet Honors COE Graduates, Faculty Members

The COE “Casino-Nite” Banquet and Awards Ceremony was held recently at Madison’s Concourse Hotel and Governor’s Club to honor its 36-member COE class – one of the largest ever. Marking the end of its 24th year of providing students an emphasis in poultry science, the year-end banquet and awards ceremony brought together students, family members, faculty, MPC board members, staff, and industry representatives to socialize, network, and, most importantly, recognize and reward students and faculty for their hard work in completing another successful COE. COE Relies on Dedicated Faculty Members

Distinguished and committed faculty members, who take valuable time out of their summer schedule to teach at the COE, continue to be integral to the success the Center of Excellence Scholarship/Internship Program enjoys. While many of their counterparts are enjoying their summer break, COE faculty are busy preparing a curriculum, traveling to Madison, and sharing their valuable knowledge and expertise with our COE students. These dedicated individuals include nationally recognized faculty from participating land grant institutions, experienced poultry industry representatives, and professionals from other universities and related agencies.
